Our Intimate At Home Engagement Shoot
(Tap) (Tap) ahhhhem… Is this thing on? Howdy y’all. This is Alex, the fiancé. So great to finally meet you!
A week ago Sarah showed you the first half of our engagement shoot we did with Bettina Bogar, one of the best photographers ever. I’m here to unveil the second half of the shoot, this time at home! (Or, at least, our super sweet Toronto loft Airbnb weekend home away from home).
The truth is, Sarah and I are kind of homebodies a good amount of the time. There is nothing better that we can think of after a long day’s work than getting some takeout burritos, curling up on the couch with Bear, and Max, and Tilly and binge watching an entire season of Crashing.
It was very important for our engagement shoot to feel real. And we think Bettina absolutely nailed it. From sharing early morning coffee, to playing bananagrams (or, more accurately, to Sarah smoking me in bananagrams for the 54th time in a row), to reading books together, this home shoot just feels like us, and we could not be more happy with it. Such a pleasure to see such a down to earth, hard working, fun couple. Never lose this passion for fun and each other. Really enjoyed seeing these as they really seem to capture each and both of you at the same time.
