Ingredients
- 16 ounces marshmallows (1 standard size bag or about 8 cups of mini marshmallows)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- pinch of salt
- 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter*, melted
- 1/3 cup marshmallow fluff
Instructions
- Line a 9 x 9 pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Place butter in a large pot over medium heat. Melt the butter, stirring constantly. Once the butter is melted add the marshmallows and salt. Use a rubber spatula to stir the marshmallows until fully melted, making sure that none of the marshmallows burn. Remove from the heat immediately
- Add the Rice Krispies, folding to fully coat the cereal.
- Put the peanut butter in the microwave for 15 seconds or until melted slightly.
- Drop the melted peanut butter and fluff into the batter and fold a few times to distribute the peanut butter without fully mixing in the peanut butter and fluff. You want there to be thick swirls.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, using a rubber spatula coated in cooking spray to press the mixture down into an even layer.
- Allow to cool for at least an hour before slicing into twelve Rice Krispie treats. Enjoy!

Notes
- We recommend using a stiffer peanut butter like Jiff or Skippy rather than a natural peanut butter!
