Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m so glad you’re here

As the name suggests, Broma is a (mostly) baking blog that I started in 2010. At that time I was a homesick college student who missed my mom’s desserts, so I decided to chronicle my baking escapades online in the form of a blog I called Broma Bakery.

Broma serves as a destination for home bakers to get their daily dessert fix. It has a mixture of elevated bakes like Red Wine Brownies, comforting classics like Blackout Chocolate Cake, and nostalgic flavors with a modern twist like Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Baking often gets a rap for being complicated and snooty, but my philosophy on baking is simple: it should be easy enough you can make it with the tools found in any kitchen, exciting enough that you want to run out to the grocery store to get ingredients immediately, and delicious enough that you can’t help but eat it over your counter. Broma Bakery is filled with over 1,000 dessert recipes for a variety of occasions, from under

30 minute treats like Golden Graham S’mores Bars to occasion bakes for a crowd like Chocolate Brownie Cookie Dough Cake. Whatever dessert you’re craving, Broma has a recipe for you. Feel free to browse our in-depth recipe index here, and check out some of my absolute favorite treats below. And as always, love and brownies.
