Ingredients

Units
  • 100g egg whites
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 100g almond flour
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 1 drop blue food coloring
  • 1/2 drop pink food coloring
  • 5 drops brown food coloring + 1/2 teaspoon water

for the chocolate filling

  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons milk
  • pinch salt

Notes

  1. make sure to not overmix OR undermix the macaron batter!
  2. it won’t hurt your macarons to dry out, but no need to let the macarons dry before placing in the oven!
