- 1 cup freeze dried strawberries
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 Tablespoons whole milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a high powered blender or food processor, pulse 1 cup of freeze dried strawberries until they form a very fine powder. Set aside.
- In a stand mixer fit with the whisk attachment, beat the softened butter until creamy, about 1 minute.
- Add the powdered strawberries and beat until combined, about 1 minute.
- Scrape down the bowl and add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. Beat until completely combined, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the bowl and add an additional Tablespoon of milk if needed to get the right consistency. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Transfer to a piping bag or use an offset spatula to frost all your sweet treats! Enjoy.
