Ingredients
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup light cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 thick slices brioche or other soft bread
- 1/4 cup nutella
- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced thinly
Instructions
- Heat large skillet or griddle over medium low heat with 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Spread half of nutella onto a slice of bread, leaving a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch border. Top with slies of strawberries. Sandwich with second piece of bread. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt, and vanilla extract. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating fully. Cook roughly 4 minutes on each side, until light golden brown. Serve immediately with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
