No. 1 – Origins Checks & Balances Foamy Face Wash $23

I’ve been using this face wash for years, and I absolutely swear by it! It’s gentle on my face, doesn’t dry it out, and doubles as my makeup remover (a huge bonus!). Origins does great sales throughout the year, so if you’re not immediately in need, keep an eye out for then.

No. 2 – Mario Badescu Witch Hazel + Rosewater Toner $14

Toners are new for me, but so far I love them. Toners are applied to your skin immediately after cleansing, helping to bring your skin back to its natural pH and remove any excess residue from your skin (thnx google). Rosewater is also very hydrating, helping to add moisture back into to your skin after washing. I like to dab it all over my face at night before applying my Rose Hip Seed Oil (below!).

No. 3 – The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil $10

If there is one thing on this list that you must buy, it’s rose hip seed oil. It’s a total miracle worker. It acts as a moisturizer and dark-spot reducer, and naturally stimulates healthy cell production due to high levels of omega fatty acids in it!  My complexion is naturally uneven, with some spots redder than others, and before I used rose hip seed oil I didn’t feel comfortable being in public without some sort of foundation on. But my bff Ambitious Kitchen got me hooked on it, and it’s my favorite thing ever. EVER.

No. 4 – Neutrogena Oil-free Moisturizer $12

It can be hard to find a moisturizer that is fragrance- and oil-free, and doesn’t leave your skin feeling weighted down. This one ticks off all of those boxes, and the price can’t be beat!

No. 5 – The Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask $22

When my skin needs a pick-me-up this is my go to. This overnight mask is made with watermelon extract (YUM), hyaluronic acid, and gentle exfoliating AHAs. Slather this on before you go to bed and wake up with glowing, baby-soft skin. The smallest size rings in under $25 dollars and a little goes a long way. Bonus points for smelling sooo good.

No. 6 – Smith’s Rosebud Salve $8

I started using Smith’s Rosebud Salve in high school and I haven’t gone a week without it since. It has a phenomenal scent, feels great on your lips, and can double as a hand balm to relieve dry skin. The packaging is timeless, and it lasts forever! I also love their version that’s in a tube.

No. 7 – Skinny & Co. Raw Coconut Oil $10

I love to cook with coconut oil, so like why not put it on my face too? Coconut oil is extremely versatile, which I love. Soften up dry patches of skin around your knuckles and elbows, use it as shaving cream (I especially like to use it when shaving my underarms), or as an anti-aging under eye cream.

No. 8 – Glossier Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid Serum $28

I’ve recently added hyaluronic acid serums to my nighttime routine, and so far I’m loving the results. Hyaluronic acid helps to retain moisture in your skin due to the hyaluronic acid molecule being able to hold onto 1,000x its weight in water. Damn. This results in a softer and more plump look to your skin. I’ll especially put it around my under eyes for plumpness and any place where my skin is feeling extra dry for moisture!

Happy Thursday, lovies! We cannot wait to hear what you guys think of these affordable skincare products!
