Golden Tote October Review

Friends! Today is a totally different kind of post that I’m SO excited to share. I’m trading in my apron for skirts, sweaters, and boyfriend jeans.

As a food blogger, I spend most days in sweatpants and tank tops. If I’m feeling fancy, I put on some workout gear. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy nice clothes. If you made a pie chart of my expenses, there’d be a fat piece devoted to clothing.

As much as I love getting new clothes, going to the mall is not my favorite activity. When I grow up, I want a stylist, because it would mean I wouldn’t have to go hunting for great pieces.

But lucky for me, I don’t quite have to wait to grow up to get handpicked pieces without going to a store. Ladies, meet Golden Tote, an online clothing boutique that ships monthly totes to your door. Golden Tote has a team of stylists that pick your tote based on personal preferences from your unique style profile. When you’re ready to receive your tote, choose a small tote (2-3 items) or a large tote (5-6 items), pick out a few items from their constantly-rotating selection, and they handle the rest!

Here’s what I got in my October tote: 

This soft and flowy suede skirt. I just love how it hangs! I paired it with a long sleeve crop top and black boots for a perfect fall look.

This lightweight military vest. I dressed it down with a black jumper and some sneakers. This is my new go-to weekend outfit!

This tweedy draped jacket. Though this would be perfect for a day at the office, I chose to pair this jacket with a tight black dress and Converse. Go, versatile clothing!

These boyfriend jeans. OMG, I’m in love! These jeans hug in all the right places while still looking relaxed. Dress them up with a black blazer and flats for a perfect business casual look!

This cowl neck poncho. Usually I’m not a fan of short-sleeved sweaters, but I was able to syle this one to my liking. This would be perfect for a date night or dinner with friends.
