Mother’s Day Brunch Recipes
Moms love brunch. Well, let’s be real…everyone loves brunch. At brunch it’s totally acceptable to eat a full plate of eggs and bacon, followed by pancakes, french toast, and cinnamon rolls. And then ten minutes later pop a few macarons, a slice of cake, and wash it all down with a cocktail. I mean…sounds like my kind of party. You get the savory AND the sweet.
And Mother’s Day brunch is all about going ALL out. In the name of mom of course.
What makes a good Mother’s Day brunch recipe?
Now you might be thinking that brunch is a free for all and you can serve whatever you want. And to an extent…yes. Brunch is an inclusive place, but for a celebratory Mother’s Day brunch your scrumptious spread should reflect the occasion. This isn’t an occasion for regular ol’ pancakes or scrambled eggs. Take advantage of Mother’s Day to spoil mom with some special recipes!
- Celebratory: Special occasion brunches call for special treats. Now is the time to make that slightly more intensive quiche, whip out the waffle iron, or indulge in a decadent layer cake.
- Almost too pretty to eat: We eat with her eyes first and an aesthetically pleasing brunch spread can make Mother’s Day brunch taste even better.
- Crowd pleasing: Brunch is all about the variety, so you’ll want to make sure there is something to appease everyone’s taste.
